I have read that people are complaining of a strange organic smell from the water, but the water at our office smells strongly of chemicals, enough so that it burns my eyes when using the water. It almost smells like bleach when the water is running and it tastes strongly of chemicals.

About a week after the taste and smell of tap water became like dirt, very organic, I began having loose stool. Last night I bought gallons of water from Kroger because the issue has only gotten worse. We have noticed that our water quality has been pretty awful the past couple of weeks. It tastes like algae/moldy and smells. We have never noticed our water quality this bad since we have lived in Bloomington the past 12 years and are concerned that there is something dangerously bad with our drinking water. Can this please be checked as we have residents who have health issues and don't need them to be aggravated due to bad water. Thank you.

For several weeks, hot water from several faucets (kitchen, bathroom, etc.) comes out with a slight brown tint. Cold water is clear, but not hot water. What is the problem, and how can it be fixed?
