Homeowner at 1251 W Countryside Ln contacted CBU Eng Dept on 5/9/19 @ 1:35pm regarding a drainage concern. Drainage ditch running between his home and the neighboring home to the West is holding water. He is concerned for public safety with mosquitos and such since the water is holding for long periods of time. He would like an Engineer to contact him and meet him on site to see what can be done to correct the problem. Tonia advised the homeowner that the Engineer was not back in the office until 5/13/19. He stated that he understood and that he did not have any immediate concerns about waiting until next week.

It appears that a lateral has broken on the north side of Morningside Drive just east of Smith road. Water is continually running from the tree plot into the gutter.

Good morning. My name is Kevin. About two months ago I put in a ureport stating that my pipes were vibrating. You sent someone out and they checked and there was no air in the pipes. Since then I have had two plumbers out and also American Leak Detection to verify there was not a leak. They have not been able to find any issues with anything in my house. They thought it was an issue with the new water heater that was put in. They removed the water heater from the water system and the issue continued. The issue that I am having is that sometimes I will hear vibrating in the pipes and other times it will sound like a car engine running. Sometimes it will last a few seconds and then stop other it will last hours. The starts randomly. I will go to bed and nothing and when I wake up it will be making the noise. The issue will stop once I shut the water to the house off. Also if I check my water usage, I am using no water. If I check my neighbors which is in the same hole as mine their water meter is running about a gallon a minute when my pipes are making the noise. When my pipes are quiet their water is not moving at all. If you have any ideas what could be causing the issue please let me know. Help - Runoff backup issues! Insufficient runoff drainage on the East side of S. Meadowbrook Dr in Parkridge East between 111 S. Meadowbrook drive and the 101 S Meadowbrook Dr causing significant backups and flooding for residents. Particularly the runoff drainage ditch is blocking the culvert in front of 111 S. Meadowbrook. Picture attached. Request the drainage ditch be deepened in this area so that the culvert is unblocked and provides sufficient slope to keep water flowing toward E. Morningside runoff drainage.

Your staff lowered my water meter manhole last week and said they would be here this week to lower the line below the surface. Just checking on the status. There is water in the box also.

This is a follow-up to case # 167833. So the storm drain was uncovered, which is good, however, all the debris that was covering it was thrown in our yard--very much NOT appreciated!!! Now, we have to clean that up. Plus, the 4 or so inches of silt/sand/soil in front of the grate is keeping the rain water from reaching the storm sewer as seen in my photo. We received rain today, and it just collected on the road.
