There has been a fish kill in Jackson creek, just off the trail. The water is clouded, smells foul. Dead fish are all over the rocks.
Question: when do you exoect to turn on water fountains along the B? Thank you.
I've reported this area twice, #172124 and #172370, but today it's impassable again due to standing water. I appreciate the work you've done to clean it up. I use this sidewalk frequently and I would like to know what permanent solution will be installed to stop this problem from recurring. It seems like the ground on the downhill side needs to be lowered next to the sidewalk to allow the water to run off.
The sidewalk at the north edge of the Goat Farm is covered with mud and water. I reported this on 3/30, #172124, and it was cleaned up. The problem appears to be a lack of drainage causing the standing water and residual mud.
When is the water going to be turned back on at the Ferguson dog park?
Our sub division Northwood Estates has been having a lot of trouble with drainage. It seems that the easements have overgrown scab trees & brush that may be blocking some water but it also seems as thoug your drainage system that takes the water to a creek needs to be cleaned out. We back up to the golf course & have trouble getting the golf course staff to maintain our side of the course, ie mowing, weeds, dead trees along the road,etc. We seem to be a bit neglected when it comes to these problems. Oclott Park walk path, where it offshoots to Jackson Creek Middle School. There is a constant trickle of water that streams across the path and down the offshoot. On cold days it forms a treacherous layer of ice. Very difficult to cross that area when walking around the park and extremely dangerous for students walking to JCMS. Not sure if it's a natural spring or if the Olcott Building is leaking, but water needs to be diverted from running across the walking path. Someone is going to get hurt.
Drainage from the football field covers the path from Olcott Park to JCMS with water (even after days with no rain). The water turns to ice when the temperature drops. Dozens of school children and community members use the path daily. I’ve seen school children slip and fall hard on their way to school. In past years the path is not adequately able to be maintained to remove the ice...the ice gets so thick that a general maintenance crew would not be able to remove it once it has formed. This path is often skipped by snow removal efforts (not sure if it’s City or MCCSC). Please consider a way to redirect this flow before someone gets seriously hurt. Thank you.
One of the water hydrants at the Ferguson dog park has a cracked fitting and is continually spraying water.
The drinking fountain by the playground in Southeast park seems not to drain properly - all the water pours out underneath the bowl.
