I am a resident at Patterson Pointe, 454 S Westplex Ave. The construction at the site directly east of the apartment building has begun with earthwork. A pit has been dug on the site and now contains green water. I don't know where the water has accumulated from, it's more than rain or runoff. Will the city check the water for contamination and make sure it is pumped out and disposed of properly? You don't need to contact me about this, I just wanted to make sure someone at the city is aware. Thank you.

Ms Fulford left a voice message 8/22/16 indicating the neighbor to the north (521 N Dunn St) has a pump for a spring that shoots water out at least every few minutes and it's pointed toward her house and water has no where to go so just ponds.

The drainage hole in the backyard between 4100 Bill Mallory Bld and 714 S Park Ridge Rd (Gentry Honours) is filled with mud and causing slow drainage and standing water. The drain appears to need a grate covering and possible rip rap to prevent debris from washing into the drain. The standing water which last for a couple days after rain is causing a mosquito infestation. It has become a health hazard. Please let me know how I should proceed. Have been having ongoing issues with storm water running down Wilton St. from Arden Dr. and Hillside Dr. Was told Wilton St. was going to be repaved (about two years ago). Street patchwork has began washing out. Storm drains in front of her home were allegedly installed improperly. Has had minimal contact with Phil Peden, Utilities, but not satisfied with City's actions to date.

I submitted an erosion/drainage issue behind my house (2201 E. Autumn Dr. Bloomington IN 47401). Someone from City called and left a message for me saying that it is on private property therefore City will not take care of it. I showed it to several other folks and in their opinion, it is City's responsibility since the rainwater pipe is the one causing the damage. I am not sure if your site visitors went to the location to verify this. The rain water from the entire neighborhood comes through this pipe and ends in the creek. I am attaching a picture with this form so that you can take a look at it.If the site visitor wants to visit again, this is happening in between (the back of ) houses 2201 and 2200.

I have traveled High Street between Arden Rd. and 3rd Street twice a day for the last ten years. Every time there is a heavy rain, water accumulates and flows down High Street between E. Mores Pike and 2nd St. forcing me to move to the other lane to avoid going through large amounts of water creating a very unsafe situation. I was delighted to see this section of High Street repaved last summer and noticed the sewers also being worked on. I assumed, incorrectly, that the runoff problem would be corrected during this maintenance project. Since the paving the runoff has actually gotten worse. Are there plans to fix this unsafe situation so cars can travel safely on High Street without endangering drivers and pedestrians? I regularly see in the Herald Times where is city is allocating and spending money on hiking and biking trails, sidewalks and various pedestrian conveniences. Ty left me a voice message indicating they were still having problems with water entering their building in the back alley and believed the Jordan Culvert reconstruction project from a few years ago was the cause.
