I submitted an erosion/drainage issue behind my house (2201 E. Autumn Dr. Bloomington IN 47401). Someone from City called and left a message for me saying that it is on private property therefore City will not take care of it. I showed it to several other folks and in their opinion, it is City's responsibility since the rainwater pipe is the one causing the damage. I am not sure if your site visitors went to the location to verify this. The rain water from the entire neighborhood comes through this pipe and ends in the creek. I am attaching a picture with this form so that you can take a look at it.If the site visitor wants to visit again, this is happening in between (the back of ) houses 2201 and 2200.

Drainage issue behind my house (2201 E. Autumn Drive). Rain water goes to the Jackson Creek but since last year the pipe has been damaged and now huge area has been damaged by the rain water. Big huge trees are falling (another one about to fall) because the rain is sweeping all the soil and roots have been exposed. Please have someone visit the site ASAP.

I have traveled High Street between Arden Rd. and 3rd Street twice a day for the last ten years. Every time there is a heavy rain, water accumulates and flows down High Street between E. Mores Pike and 2nd St. forcing me to move to the other lane to avoid going through large amounts of water creating a very unsafe situation. I was delighted to see this section of High Street repaved last summer and noticed the sewers also being worked on. I assumed, incorrectly, that the runoff problem would be corrected during this maintenance project. Since the paving the runoff has actually gotten worse. Are there plans to fix this unsafe situation so cars can travel safely on High Street without endangering drivers and pedestrians? I regularly see in the Herald Times where is city is allocating and spending money on hiking and biking trails, sidewalks and various pedestrian conveniences. Location 1008 E Thornton Dr.; Public safety/ traffic/ residential parking issue: Large amount of shoulder stone has eroded away due to to water run off from the street. Creating a large rut and beginning to undermine the edge of the steets pavement. (avg. 50'x1'x1') with the stone being washed towards Henderson St. then into the storm sewer system. This issue has been reported on multiple occasions over the last year by multiple residents.

Note location should be Winslow Farm Community Association storm water retention pond (DO NOT contact this home address). Note: I live at 414 E Wylie Farm road. My question is should soil erosion in Winslow forest be abated since we have a lot of soil in our storm water detention pond that seems to highly likely have come from Winslow woods (accumulated since WFCA pond was constructed in 1995).

This area needs a street drain. Every time it rains water pools at this corner making it difficult for people walking down the sidewalk to cross the street. During the winter, this turns into a block of ice making it very dangerous for people crossing the street. Children in this neighborhood walk to Child's Elementary School and have to jump over the puddle of water when it's warm and try not to fall on the block of ice that form here during the winter. Please install a street drain in this location. Thank you.

Crews have patched potholes on Montclair Ave within the last few weeks, but they missed an area that is on the edge of the roadway, next to the curb, near the southeast corner of Montclair, right near the intersection with Rock Creek. There are several holes that fill with water after a storm, leaving standing water that will encourage mosquito breeding. Please come back and fix this spot. Thanks, John
