Michelle called to report an abandoned vehicle on Oak Street between 6th and 7th Street. The corner address is 1100 W. 6th St. It has been there for 2 months and its plates expired in July.

Responded... Hi Nick. First of all, thanks for submitting this uReport. The more folks that say something about it, the better. Second, I know this person and his mother is actually the chair of the Council for Community Accessibility. While neither have directly complained about this issue it has been on our radar as other people have seen him try to navigate that stretch of Smith Road. So I went out and did a full survey from 3rd to 10th Streets and reported every issue along that route. Then I participated in a discussion about it with the Engineering and Planning. It's not so easy to address this one because it's very narrow and can't be widened. It would also be fairly costly to do the whole route. But we have placed it on the sidewalk priority list that was submitted to Planning departments for their next round of sidewalk construction. We won't know how that very limited budget gets spent for a while, but sure hope it includes addressing this one. So that's where we stand on it. Fingers are crossed! Switchyard park is supposed to be open until 11 pm. Everyday there are no lights on in the skatepark after dark. It is currently 7:17 pm with no lights, this could be a serious danger to the riders. Please fix this issue it would make a huge difference!
Large stones have fallen off adjacent wall and are blocking sidewalk. Thank you. There is no contact person, address, or even photo. Not sure what to do with this one but to close it???
