POSITION DESCRIPTION

Provides supervision of school children and adults when crossing the street in specified crosswalks. Must use a stop sign and wear a vest during work time. Performs duties outdoors and is exposed to dust, vehicle fumes, and varying weather conditions. Must respond with tact and courtesy during difficult situations in public encounters.

 

EXPERIENCE

Experience working with and supervising children, preferred.

 

EDUCATION

High school education or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform job duties.

 

HOURS

Temporary part-time hours: 8:30am – 9:00am and 3:40pm – 4:10pm, Monday – Friday at Childs Elementary

Substitute position: as needed; hours and location will vary

 

SALARY

$23.00/hour
