Clear Creek Culvert Reconstruction

Milestone contractors will be performing work to reconstruct the Clear Creek culvert that spans from the east-west alley behind the Von Lee across Indiana Ave. The project will include alleyway, sidewalk, and lane restrictions in the surrounding area and a road closure on Indiana during the final phase of the project.

Smith and SR 46 Intersection Improvement
Smith Rd

Smith rd and SR 46 intersection improvements. This includes new storm pipe, sidewalk,
curbs, and widening of the intersection. This is part of INDOT's project R-41465. Closures include road and sidewalk closures that
will be completed in two phases: north of SR 46 and south of SR 46. The south side will be completed first starting on 3/12/24 and
completing 4/26/34 followed by the north side on 4/29/24 and completing 6/13/24. Road closures will be in place on Smith at the
intersection for both with planned detours to be used. Private access to homes and business to be maintained as soft closures.
11,797 sq ft of pavement excavations, 80 sq ft of non pavement excavations, 87 sq ft of new sidewalk construction, and 2
residential driveway installations are included in the work

Adams St Sidewalk Project
Along the westside of Adams St and at the intersection of 8th St and Fountain Dr, new sidewalk being installed.

Along the westside of Adams St between Kirkwood Ave and Fountain Dr there will be new sidewalk added. Also, at the S/W corner of 8th St and Fountain Dr, new sidewalk will be added here as well. There is a 60 total day lane closure of the southbound lane of Adams St between Kirkwood Ave and Fountain Dr. The detour will be along 11th St, Rogers St and Kirkwood Ave. The project is scehedule for a total of 90 days.
