Twin Lakes Recreation Center Hosts Spring Fling March 15

Bloomington, Ind.-The City of Bloomington's Twin Lakes Recreation Center, 1700 W. Bloomfield Rd., is hosting a day of active games and interactive activities on the indoor turf field during Spring Fling March 15 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Admission to Spring Fling is $3 per person.

Experience a thrill on a ride inside a "Zorb Ball"-a transparent, inflatable, human-sized hamster ball! Parks and Recreation Department staff will also have available an extra-large Jenga game, the Rigamajig building kit, and Imagination Playground building set for children and families of all ages to build and create together.

With a theme of physical activity and leading active lifestyles, the Spring Fling also features fitness and wellness program demonstrations, including yoga and aerial silks.

"We know not everyone makes it to the beach or the mountains during Spring Break, so we wanted to offer some active entertainment for families taking a staycation this year," said Hannah Buddin, community events specialist with the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department. "Children of all ages and their families are invited to Spring Fling to participate in these activities together."

Spring Fling admission is not applicable to the Twin Lakes Recreation Center's hardwood courts, cardio studio, or weight machine/free weight areas.
