Position Description

Assist with the sound equipment setup, operation and tear-down. Assist with the maintenance and repair of equipment, special events, cultural arts programs and other special recreational services. Maintain positive interaction with the public under the general direction of a full-time staff member.


High school education or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Some college preferred.

Experience/Special Skills

Incumbent must possess working knowledge of sound equipment operation and strong public relations, communication, and organizational skills. Muste be creative, resourceful and flexible; must be self-motivated, energetic and patient.


First Aid and CPR or ability to obtain. Valid driver's license required.


Part-time hours including days, evenings, weekends and holidays. Three to nine hours a week, May-August. Must be able to work flexible hours.


$11.61 per hour
