Farmers' Market Vendor Space Reservation Meeting is Feb. 26

Bloomington, Ind.- The Bloomington Community Farmers' Market space reservation meeting for vendors who wish to sell farm products during the 2018 Market is Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 401 N. Morton St. in Bloomington.

Vendor spaces at both the Saturday morning Market (April through October) and the Tuesday Market (evenings, June through September) can be reserved based on the number of points each primary vendor has earned (by being a vendor at previous years' Markets).

Space reservations for the Saturday Market take place first, followed by Tuesday Market reservations. Space assignments will be based on vendor attendance points earned from 1983 through 2017.

Farmers' Market staff provide a considerable amount of information for Farmers' Market vendors at the space reservation meeting, so Farmers' Market Coordinator Marcia Veldman suggests that, even if vendors are not planning to reserve a regular space, that they plan to attend the meeting.

A potluck will be held at 5:30 p.m. prior to the space reservation meeting. Everyone is welcome to attend, and to bring a favorite dish. The Farmers' Market will provide beverages, plates, and eating utensils.
