Each month our registered dietitian provides nutrition education and teaches culinary skills to enhance your cooking experience. Sept.-Farm-to-Table Cooking: Learn to create dishes using local ingredients from farmers markets or community-supported agriculture (CSA) programs. In this class, we will emphasize sustainability, supporting local farmers, and reducing food waste.Oct.-Creative Snack Making: Kids love snacks, so teach them to make their own snacks that are balanced to provide energy and nutrients! Emphasis is on the use of fresh ingredients, and on creatively customizing snacks with different toppings and flavors. This class is best suited for children ages 4-10.Nov.- Plant-Based Cooking: Learn to prepare flavorful and satisfying plant-based meals using a variety of fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, and plant-based proteins.Dec.-Winter Wonderland Baking Basics: In this hands-on class, participants learn essential baking techniques while creating delicious treats inspired by the season. From warm spices to comforting flavors, celebrate the joy of winter through the art of baking!
