Hoosier to Hoosier Community Sale

Hoosier to Hoosier (H2H) is a reuse program that aims 1) to divert reusable items from the landfill during student move-out, 2) to prevent additional resource consumption by selling collected items to students and community members in order 3) to raise funds for local charities and other organizations.

During the summer, the effort needs lots of volunteers to help collect and sort donations. Groups and individuals welcome! If you're interested, visit th H2H website or email h2h@indiana.edu for more information.

Parks & Recreation Opportunities

The Parks & Recreation Department has opportunities for residents to get involved, including trail maintenance, water quality monitoring, their park ambassador program, and the recently begun Switchyard planning process.

Food production within the city of Bloomington is easier with the establishment of community gardens located around town. Producers can grow organic or conventional vegetables for themselves, market, or local food programs.

Dispose of Unused Pharmaceuticals
