As a resident of Union Street, myself and other residents have to cross from the parking lot over to the buildings but while crossing we nearly get hit (which is very unfortunate). So with that, we're hoping that there can be a crosswalk painted on the ground to make it safe for students to cross from the parking lot to the buildings. If this is possible that would be splendid! As I rode my bike to work this morning I noted a good sized hole which looked fairly deep right in front of the drain on the northwest corner of Morningside and Park Ridge Road. It looked as if the ground underneath had been washed away .
Vegetation at 917 W. Howe is blocking the sidewalk.
Street sign at intersection of Sheffield & Plymouth has apparently been hit by a car (45 degree angle--no pedestrian or traffic hazard however)
14th street south to the railroad overpass, west side of road street lights not working.
I would like to report several trees along High Street with low-hanging branches that are partially blocking the sidewalk. These tree branches are hanging 3-5 feet above the sidewalk and making it very hard for anyone to walk or run without having to duck constantly. The tree branches are posing a hazard because pedestrians may need to step out into the street to navigate around them because they are partially obstructing the path. Is the city responsible for the trimming of tree branches above sidewalks? The issue has been worsening since last year.
There are a number of street lights out on the west side of College Ave between 15th and 13th street. There are all out in a row. There is a new apartment building at the corner of 14th and College on the southwest corner. The light went out when that building was being constructed. Now that the building is finished and occupied, the streets lights that are out should be lighted again. When they are out all in a row like that (between 4 and 6 lights are out), it makes the area very dark and makes the bike lane on the west side of College very hazardous. Please get these lights turned back on. Thank you.
There is sand in the bicycle lane on N College Ave in many places between Old State Rd 37 and the railroad underpass.
The streetlight on the northwest corner of 20th and Lincoln isn't working.
