Hi. On Saturday, my 3-year-old child tripped and fell over a new patch in the street outside our house on Greenwood Avenue. Apparently, some of my neighbors wrote to you last week to report the bad condition of the street. On Thursday/Friday(?), several large potholes were filled in, but it seems to be fast emergengy patching. Some of the patches are now bumps instead of holes, with loose tarmac around the patch. First, I WOULD like to say thank you for acting on this so quickly. But I do have two questions: (i) Is the street scheduled for proper repair in the near future? and (ii) Is the sidepath at the end of the street, between Greenwood and Southdowns, also scheduled for improvement? My interest in this issue is not only as a resident. I am a member of the Rogers/Binford Safe Routes to School Committee, and I am concerned about upkeep for the children who use this as the main pedestrian route to school from the SoMax neighborhood. Your location finder isn't accurate, the true address is 1435 N Kinser Pk. There is a large tree at this address that is partially dead and dying. Part of this tree hangs over onto this property, 1431 N Kinser Pk, but the majority hangs over the street. I spoke with the property owner about this tree back in mid April about him taking care of this hazard. Nothing got done and he moved. Early summer a large limb fell into the street one night obstructing traffic and about 2 weeks ago another large limb fell into our driveway, damaging our fence. As time goes by, more of this tree is dying and at some point it's going to fall into the street,blocking both lanes,taking out the power and phone lines and hopefully not injuring anyone. The mail carrier doesn't stop there anymore so I guess he had his mail forwarded.

The street light in front of my house (2102 S. Georgetown Rd.) has been out for several months. I reported it here in early July, but it has not been fixed.

alley off of Curry Pike before W 3rd that goes into Highland Village: The rental store often blocks the alley with their van almost daily. Also, the laundry mat blocks the alley with cars and uses the whole alley with about 5 people sorting clothes on a weekly basis.

This intersection is getting out of control. Its an accident waiting to happen. People are making up their own rules: driving around cars, forming turning lanes where there shouldn't be (the city's somewhat-recent painting of diagonal lines on Pete Ellis & 10th in front of the Woodbridge Station brick sign is totally ineffective), and drivers turning left to head east on 10th from N Pete Ellis Drive think they have the right of way when confronted with drivers traveling due north on Pete Ellis. This all happens at the intersection of 10th & Pete Ellis. Improvements must be made. Please.

Please do not waste residents' time by pulling them over simply to inform them of new laws. If you would like to implement a new law - notify the public either via postal service, email, or announcements in local newspapers. It is a huge inconvenience for one to be pulled over by an officer for a law that one is unaware exists!

The Stull Ave street sign at the intersection of Stull and 1st St is missing. I first noticed it's absence Thursday 13 Sept.
