Windows in all dorm rooms across IU are bolted shut and I can't see how this is anything less than a major fire safety hazard.

Jennifer thinks building on the corner of 10th and Monroe is unsafe. Please call her asap re: this
House on corner next to B.G. Pollard lodge - has been vacant and unsecured. Needs to be boarded up.
House is unsecured and falling apart. No one appears to live there.
Only halfway completed in construction almost two decades ago, the abandoned "Tibetan tea house" is owned last I heard by someone living in California who's son living in Indiana asked another guy a third person to watch over it and was letting a bunch of unhoused people stay there with syringes, foil wads, and there's been constant traffic in and out of the brush and the structure ever since. They camp out in that little area, then spread out to nearby neighborhoods and Crestmont porch pirating, etc. it's not a safe structure, and it is maintaining a common nuisance. It's not a complete structure, it has never been properly maintained, and needs to be demolished.
undsafe structure, dangerous
white garage/shed on west side of property that they believe is unsafe and in danger of falling.
Homeless encampment. Building a shelter. Filth everywhere. Do something.
Dear Sir or Madam: My wife and I own Shean Properties Ltd. and the property at 1114 North College Avenue in Bloomington. Directly to the north of our building is 1116 North College Avenue which is owned by Robert Grabbe. His home has been a mess since we acquired this property in 1994. I believe that Mr. Grabbe has abandoned the building. The postal carrier has told us that homeless people are living inside. The lawn has not been cut in months and I haven’t seen Mr. Grabbe in 3 months. It is time for the City to exercise its authority under the Unsafe Building Law and remedy this situation. At the very least the grass should be cut and the broken windows boarded up. Thanks, John John H. Shean, Esq. SHEAN LAW OFFICES, P.C. 1114 N.
