I just took possession of a home I bought as sidewalk construction on E. Morningside was being completed. The home is at 4021 E. Morningside. It is my understanding the City redid part of the driveway after having to destroy it for sidewalk work. Unfortunately it appears a corner of the drive (front right / SE) is already cracking/chipping/spalling (see photo). I'm requesting the City patch this up before it continues to flake (not huge now but would like addressed so as not to spread) as an area driven over frequently. Otherwise looks fantastic and very happy with the new sidewalk and drive portion. Great neighborhood addition.

A new sidewalk in this area was installed, but the road doesn't seem to be finished. There are huge potholes and it is unsafe for bikes, pedestrians, and vehicles.

Mr. Madsen called to express his concern about the efficiency of tax money on the sidewalk sweeper the City just purchased. He believes the City merchants should sweep their own sidewalks, and in the winter should shovel their own walks to better promote people to use the dowtown area. After traffic calming device was installed at the corner of 3rd and Rogers, sidewalk had to be realigned. Realigning meant tree had to be dug up and the lawn in this area was never fixed. See letter

8TH & ADAMS STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT: HALL STATES THAT THE SIDEWALK IS SPALDING VERY BADLY. HE WOULD LIKE TO HAVE SOMEONE FROM THE CITY COME AND WALK THE SITE WITH HIM. HALL STATES THAT THIS IS "THE WORST JOB HE HAS EVER SEEN".

i noticed a very dangerous situation that needs to be fixed. on the old part of west 3rd street that is still 2 lanes, beside the cresent donut shop, it is very narrow there, & i noticed that the edge of the street there is crumbling away. when it starts snowing in a month or 2, it will be even more dangerouse, because as the snow accumulates it can form a false shelf effect. in other words, the street there could look wider than it really is, so a driver could easily go over the edge & down into a little creek under there. please fix. thank you
