I live on Southern drive, which is a side street off of Walnut. I have noticed people speeding on Walnut and it has become increasingly dangerous for other drivers who are following the speed laws. Is there any way that there could be more of a police presence who can run radar and could possibly reduce the speeding on this road? I think it would really help! Thank you!
White BMW vehicle accelerated through the stop sign and accelerated again at a high speed west on Allendale causing a bike to veer off the road. This vehicle endangered the bicyclist, ignored the stop sign, and has on multiple occasions done this.
Once again, the section of West 11th st between Adams St and Fountain Dr has become a speedway. Drivers CD are absolutely flying down the road. Captain Pedigo, I know you are stretched thin when it comes to number of officers, but could you do your best to set up radar sometime on this section of road? Our neighborhood would truly appreciate it.
Hello. There is a problem with reckless driving in the Maple Heights neighborhood. I experience it on my daily walks on Fairview, 11th, Maple, 13th, Jackson, Rogers, etc... I see it and hear it throughout my day specifically on 13th street both west and east directions and Fairview both north and south directions. Frequently, it is a vehicle speeding north on Fairview, then turning east on 13th street. Then just a few minutes later the same car speeds in the reverse directions. Is this some sort of a methamphetamine pickup? I don't know. But it is regular, has been a regular occurrence, and I am tired of it. The worst regular occurrence are negligent, selfish motorists traveling at very high speeds from the east on 13th street heading west to Maple. I was taking in the recycling bin last night and could not believe the speed at which someone drove past me. This is not safe. There is a special needs adolescent in the neighborhood who sometimes dances around in the street. There are children that play and should have every right to play without cars traveling at high speeds past them. This is incredibly dangerous driving in a residential neighborhood and I would appreciate it if the police could enforce the traffic laws prior to their being property damage and/or personal injury. NO ONE goes the speed limit by this school. You placed 20 mph beacons that begin at 7:25 a.m., but they are ignored. If you had a police vehicle sit at the area once a week, I'm sure people would drive the speed limit. The speeding in the area makes it difficult to turn in and out of the school. Thank you.
Blue Buick at 3345 is permanently stationary with no registration I do not know if this is illegal or not. The condo H.O.A. is unresponsive ( Ivy Sells). The owner of this unit is Hoosier Choice Realty. This resident had a visitor that intimidated me in the past . Cars.law.com states an unregistered vehicle in Indiana may not be located on a sidewalk. Cars speeding on stands drive between Rogers Rd and Olcott park. This occurs especially on weekdays a little before and after 3:00pm. Thanks.
The high speeds cars drive on Kinser Pike are crazy fast and it's any time of day (morning, evening, middle of the night). I'm honestly afraid for my 3 year old's life as much as I keep her out of the road. The hill/blind spots before my house really worry me. I don't know if we could have more patrols out here or a speed check sign. I know there was a school speed limit sign in my neighbors yard that has since disappeared.
The amount of speeding on Kinser Pike is ridiculous, especially for a school zone. At least I thought it was, the school speed limit zone sign was removed last summer for some reason. Any time of day or night, multiple cars speeding.
