If you try to pull out of that shopping center and you look south to try to pull out on Walnut there is a big sign truck that blocks being able to see the cars coming. I e almost been hit because you have to pull so far for to see oncoming traffic before you can pull out. I believe it belongs to BBs market, weve asked them to move it , but that was 2 weeks ago

We just moved back to Bloomington after being overseas the past two years. In the two weeks here, at the traffic circle near our house there have now been three incidents where traffic just barrels into the circle at E. Rogers and S. Sare Rd. without caring about the traffic already in it. We have had to stop from being hit on two of these occasions, the other we observed. Is there any signage or other measure that can be done to make this intersection more safe? Thank you for any attention you can give to this.

I appreciate that you are going to analyze this corner based on the potential Sudbury development. BUT, please change this intersection regardless of what happens with that development. It is already a dangerous intersection with the current traffic flow. There are near misses all day long. The accidents that happen are always bad, not just small fender benders. Allen is too steep. It makes visibility bad and makes it difficult to get traction up the hill and enter Bloomfield safely.

The new median at the intersection of 3rd and Grant has been helpful. However, I have seen a number of drivers who are disgruntled not being able to turn the direction they want go around the median in a dangerous way. In one instance I witnessed, I believe this caused a fender-bender accident. In another instance I experienced as a pedestrian crossing, a car made an illegal turn around the median and had to stop right before me. I suggest that there be an extra pylon placed at the ends of the median's yellow lines to disincentivize this erratic driving.

Between approximately 1910 until about 1925 on 3/21/24, I witnessed 6-8 vehicles drive south in the northbound lane in the construction area from Fountain then turning west on 7th St.
The vehicles ranged from a full-size truck pulling a trailor, the kind to haul a riding lawnmower, to an either 2-door or small 4-door car and judging from the high speed at which the car drove and the timing of the next northbound car, the southbound car entered the construction zone at the same time or after the northbound car entered from Kirkwood. This was all within 15-20 minutes on the 4th day of the closure. It's going to be a problem.

There needs to be a roundabout or traffic light at Prow & Arlington, because it is a nearly daily issue, twice a day, because the intersection is an unprotected free-for-all PLUS inexperienced drivers.

Thank you for the question- the areas that are being used for seating for the parklets are all contained within the existing parking spaces and not within what is considered the travelled way. With that in mind, the water-filled barricades are not being used as traffic control devices, but rather as a physical delineation between the seating and the road itself.
