As a rep of the HOA I spoke with owner at 3873 Laurel regarding the truck and trailer parked in the street and the complaints I have received. I suggested that he park the vehicle elsewhere so as not to block the street. He indicated in was OK with the city, he pays assoc. fees, etc. I believe this is likely in violation of 15.32.060. Hello, There are two abandoned vehicles in the Parking lot of Willowbrook Apartments. A Honda Coupe with no plate. All tires are flat and the vehicle has not moved in over 6 months. A Mitsubishi Galant with the license plate, “824LQT”. The plate expired in 2015. This vehicle has also not moved in over 6 months.
On Allendale Court there is a car parked that has yellow out of country tags on it. This car sits there everyday all day long and is never driven. There is plenty of parking in the persons driveway. This needs to be addressed cause people drive fast on this road and someone is going to get hurt having to go around it if they do not see it in time. There are alot of people walking and bike riding on this road. The road should not be blocked by vehicles that are not driven.
There are always multiple cars parked on the street with no permits during the week & I can never find parking. They never seem to be ticketed but after paying for a permit it is incredibly frustrating.

A trailer for a food truck has been parked on the street most of the time for the past 2-3 months. Is this legal? It's something of an obstacle when a vehicle is parked across from it.
Some thing is going on over Smith Rd. Travel is very heavy on Heritage Rd . Before, the Heritage Rd is a side street, parking is allowed, even it’s a public street not a public parking area. Now it become a Main Street, park on the side of the street really creates a very dangerous situation. Is possible city can provide a better place for those park on the street to move to? It’s much safe for the rest of the drivers.
Thanks for the reply. I am taking about the situation now. When the time I back up from my driveway to the Heritage, I looked right, left, till no car in sight. I slowly back to the street, immediately a loud squeaky brake behind me. A red car from 3rd street almost hits my car. Of course those cars can park wherever they allowed after the construction done on Smith Rd. But now it’s so dangerous! You should not wait till something terribly happened before taking actions.
