Red Ford ‘Escort’ parked too close to intersection on the west side of Eastside Drive. Reduces visibility and turning safety.
This is a chronic parking violation and unsafe situation for students and neighborhood residents. Every single school day there are 15-20 cars that are illegally parked on both sides of the road Wylie Farm Road by Henderson Street to pick up Bloomington South high school students at the end of the day. Twice I have tried to exit the neighborhood that way when I have had a medical appt and could not get through. There are students walking in the street and cars parked on both sides. It is dangerous for students and neighborhood resident drivers. The cars start parking the half hour or so before school release. There are no parking signs clearly displayed on both sides. City parking staff needs to go there daily to ticket these cars for awhile to get this to stop. I would also suggest parking and/or the police dept. contact the BHSS principle to send out communication to students and parents that this is an illegal parking area for student pick-up.
Delivery vehicle parked illegally in no passing zone during a busy hour of the morning. Traffic was forced to pass in the oncoming (Eastbound) lane in a no passing zone heading directly into an intersection with The B-Line Trail. Much of the oncoming traffic was large trucks, FWIW. Traffic was at times backed up to the light at College and Kirkwood. This was around 9:15am. I waited 10 or more minutes, staff seemed in no hurry to rectify the situation.
Occupant os parking in front of the fire hydrant.
Multiple people parallel parked against traffic in the 200 E block of Wylie St, at least one more on the 400 E block.
People park illegally on my residential street every time the church has a service. Sometimes this happens on Friday at 2pm, including today. I typically use the street to park, legally, with my residential permit. These illegal parkers take up all the space so I have to park somewhere else. It is very annoying.
This car and the one parked near it block the alley almost every night and early morning. Emergency vehicles can't get through and neither can regular vehicles. It's in the alley behind Parker Mgmt
The house in the alley directly behind 620 N Walnut keeps parking in the alley, blocking it overnight. Traffic can't get around and emergency services will be affected. This is an ongoing problem with that house.
Re: Ongoing Parking Violation - uReport #207578 I'm following up on my January 14th report regarding a Jeep parked in front of my residence, extending approximately 5 feet over the yellow curb line. This vehicle creates a dangerous sight line obstruction when I pull onto 1st Street, which has heavy traffic. Despite my initial report, the vehicle remains un-ticketed and I have not received a response from the Town of Bloomington. This ongoing violation poses a safety hazard. I'm requesting immediate attention to this matter. Please advise on the status of my report and when enforcement action will be taken. Thank you for your prompt assistance. -ecb
