Resident (or visitor) driving a silver Ford Edge (IN-214EKW, I think) turned left (west) onto 11th Street from Lincoln and sped down the entire block against the one-way posted direction to get to Washington Street. This short block has no sidewalks and visibility is difficult given the mature, evergreen conifers in the area. People and animals are often walking in the street and are not expecting a careless driver to travel in that direction. This is definitely not the street to drive down the wrong way. Please advise this person that rules are there for a reason, and unilaterally disregarding them due to perceived inconvenience is selfish and uncivil, in addition to being a traffic violation.

Living on N Walnut for 4 years, I've noticed there's a marked increase in the frequency of drivers revving their engines unnecessarily loud as they go through the W 11th & N Walnut section. The sounds and incidences are so loud that they have interrupted my meetings, indoor activities, and startled me to drop my kitchenware. My neighbors have also shared this concern on how this happens much more often recently, especially in the past 2 years.
I remember there used to be a couple of police officers stationed off the W 11th & N Walnut section and it was noticeably more quiet and peaceful. But I haven't seen them at the same spot anymore and the corresponding noise issues arose instantaneously. My neighbors and I would love for the city to either station an officer here to deter these activities and, in the long run, implement policies at curbing these disruptive actions from reckless people.

Nearly identical to case #188757 involving previous tenant at this location, and generally to cases #193315, #193314, and #193039. New tenant has been observed driving west from Lincoln along 11th Street against the one-way direction to get to alley where parking spot is located. Car was a BMW SUV with Indiana (Elkhart County) license plate.

For some reason, issue #193314 is not visible. Tenant at 800 N. Lincoln disregards "One-way" sign and is travels south on Lincoln from 12th Street to get to alley and parking spot behind house. Vehicle was dark red Toyota SUV with New Jersey license plates. Case is similar to #188757 and #193039.

Identical to issue #188757. New tenants at this address are driving the wrong way on 11th to get to their parking spot. Please ask them to obey the "One-Way" signs and approach from either Washington or the alley, and not drive west along 11th from Lincoln. Pedestrians are not expecting a car to turn directly into their path, and because there are no sidewalks, people on foot must walk on the street. Also, there is a large spruce on the SW corner of Lincoln/11th that completely blocks the view of possible oncoming drivers, there is a real possibility that someone could get run over at this location or another vehicle driving in the correct direction on 11th will suffer a head-on. The vehicle observed most recently was a grey Hyundai Sonata with Pennsylvania plates. It then pulled into and parked behind (on the south side) of this house.

A tenant in this house regularly drives the wrong way on 11th Street. To get to the parking spot in back, the approach should be from Washington (from the west) but instead she takes what she has decided is a convenient shortcut from Lincoln. This has caused near collisions multiple times with pedestrians who are walking on 11th street (which for some reason has no sidewalks in this block). Each time, she flippantly squeals, "Oh, sorry!" as if she didn't know better, even though she has been given a talking to about this several times. It is clearly marked "One Way" towards the east. Can the police give someone a ticket for something they did not actually witness? What is the best approach when entitled undergraduates regularly violate traffic regulations because they are inconsiderate, selfish, and feel the rules don't apply to them? This is a Chickering rental.

The vast majority of cars do not yield to pedestrians looking to cross the street using the crosswalk at the intersection of 3rd and Grant. Oftentimes when a car in one of the lanes yields to a crossing pedestrian, cars in the other lane will not yield and drive straight through the crosswalk when a pedestrian is attempting to cross. My concern is that eventually a pedestrian who thinks they are safe while crossing will be struck by a driver not aware of the law. I think Bloomington PD could generate a lot of revenue from tickets in just one day by having someone monitoring that crosswalk. Putting in a new sign that says the law is to yield could also be a solution.

The high speeds cars drive on Kinser Pike are crazy fast and it's any time of day (morning, evening, middle of the night). I'm honestly afraid for my 3 year old's life as much as I keep her out of the road. The hill/blind spots before my house really worry me. I don't know if we could have more patrols out here or a speed check sign. I know there was a school speed limit sign in my neighbors yard that has since disappeared.

Many cars heading North and South on Hillsdale are exceeding the 25 MPH speed limit, making it dangerous for pedestrians, bicyclist, and cars backing out of driveways. I'm not sure what the best solution for this is.
