I can hear water moving in the wall where the water enters the house from the meter/shutoff in my front yard. If I shut the water off inside the house where it enters, the sound stops. I have checked every place water is available in the house and outdoor spickets and there are no leaks or sound. I doubt it is related, but Saturday evening, July 26, our street lost power for 3 hours. Duke had a few large bucket trucks on our street around 10:45pm.Does the water department come here make sure there isn’t a leak inside the cover in the front yard?

It looks like a water main has ruptured near University and Eagleson. Thousands of gallons of muddy water are streaming down Eagleson Ave.
