We had Weddle Plumbing out today to rod-out our main sewer line (due to slowness). He didn't find the usual root issue they normally do on our line, and when he checked the city sewer access, we found the main sewer water level unusually high (and at times stagnant). See image attached. It seems like the city's main line may also need rodding. I hope this can be serviced soon, before it affects (back up into) our line (again?).

The sewer lines for 2201, 2203, and 2207 connect together and then jointly connect to city sewer. As this was done sometime in the 1950s, is this up to current city codes? Over the past few years there have been a few sewer back-ups as a result of all lines being connected. Is there a grant available to the homeowners that will allow each of them to disconnect from each other and connect to city sewer individually? At least two sanitary sewer cleanouts in the ROW with sewage leaking out. One is in the middle of the sidewalk at the Northeast corner of S High Street and E Arden. The other cleanout is about 50 feet North of the cleanout in the sidewalk.

Sewage water backing up into my basement. I have checked all of my own plumbing (bathroom in basement; water heater; washer) and everything seems to be in good shape. I have identified water coming (in reverse) out of the drain that services my AC/Furnace. That sewer water then makes its way to my basement floor drain and exits. I have obseved that at heavier usage times (when 2 of us are in the shower and the washer is on) the drain is unable to keep up and thus water ends up on the floor of my basement. This has been happening for about 4-5 days now.

I am concerned about the sewage line between East Dunstan and East Clairmont. After the melt last year, there was a major blockage causing my basement to be flooded with sewage.The level in my home sewage line has been visibly rising the last few days, and I’d like to ask to check for blockage in the sewage line between East Dunstan and East Clairmont.

The main sewage line north of my home is backing up (again). This is a recurring issue. The water/sewage level at the access hole has reached the level of the basement, and the basement toilet has started to back up. Please clean out the blockage in the main sewage. I am aware that you had crews there earlier this year to cut back roots, but something is blocking this sewage line now.

Sewer is backing up into the basement of the home. The plumber ran 100 ft of sewer cable through the basement cleanout. Pulled back wipes and roots. Line not open. Tested line by flushing toilet and running kitchen sink. Line tested bad. There’s only 55 ft from basement drain to middle of the street. Plumber ran 100ft of Sewer cable without meeting obstruction.
