Walking my children to school on High Street, the sidewalk in front of the big white house at the corner of Woodstock and High was not cleared and was hazardous. It was the only sidewalk that was not on that street.

East side of S. High St, 400 and 500 blocks, has multiple areas of uncleared snow making sidewalks unsafe or impassable. Areas adjoining St. Charles and Evangelical Community churches are especially bad.

Some households near Park Ridge East Park have yet to shovel sidewalks if you can check that out in the next day or two.

Please check far East 3rd (past College Mall) and N. Smith for sidewalks. Saw a kid and his dad walking down E 3rd near Summerhouse since sidewalks were blocked in the area. Super dangerous to walk on a highway like that in the snow.

On 2/13, before the current snow, I walked to Kirkwood and back, 7 blocks on Washington and returning on Lincoln. I found only 2-3 houses that had clear sidewalks. What appeared to be rental houses, and there are many, were not cleared. It at one point made me walk in the street because of the depth and was blasted by a driver for doing so. I returned to the sidewalk as quickly as possible but it was not safe...ice had built up. So....after this snow, I see the same thing. One reason for being close to town is that you don't have to drive to do simple errands. What kind of call out to landlords and tenants can be made vs. imposing unwanted and probably ill received responses??? Thanks for listening and I hope to hear some kind of response.
