Toady, June 25th, a tree fell across the Street at our house. We chain sawed it & moved it to the side so traffic could get through. It needs to be removed completely though, as it is still a hazard near the edge of the road.

Tree down blocking w 8th st. City has been called twice. Guess since we live in a dead end street it's not as important to the city

I live on West Dodds street. Now that Rogers is closed there is a lot more traffic on Dodds. It could be because the yellow curb markings are fading, but folks are parking their cars on the street all the way to the 4 way stop sign at Rogers/Dodds. With cars parked like that when you enter Dodds and a car is coming down Dodds there is no where to go. I am an older driver and its scary entering my street. With the increase in traffic I am hoping that you can remark the yellow curb lines and hopefully keep cars from parking so close to the intersection. Thank you

Similar to cases #182197 and #193097. New tenants are using the entrance to the alley in back of the house (along 11th Street) as a third parking space, blocking access to a public thoroughfare. There are only two parking spots at this house, those directly in front of the garage.

The stone house on the NW corner of Dixie and Fairview had a lot of tree work done, weeks ago. Thet left a lot of the limbs in the unimproved alleyway behind the house and down the alley. It needs to go before more snow flies.

The Lexus has been parked in the yellow lines for nearly 24 hours, obstructing my view of the street and partially blocking the driveway. This is unacceptable. Please issue a ticket or tow the vehicle immediately. Thank you, Elida C. Behar Saturday, December 14, 2024

I am a wheelchair user. Every time it snows deep like it has now the snow plows from the city pile of the snow in front of the curb cuts. I was just downtown trying to get across college on Kirkwood. Could not get it through the snow. Very frustrating every year it snows.

Massive work is being done on our short street (S. Sare Rd.) - bulldozers, trucks, people. But a large white Cadillac SUV with something in the driver's seat, possibly a human, sits parked almost in my driveway. As I was trying to get out of my driveway this morning I had to steer around several vehicles. However, there was open space behind the white Cadillac SUV, plenty of room - it could have moved to make it easier for me to get past him. He didn't move! Perhaps he is stoned, asleep, drunk, stupid, or maybe it's a robot sitting in the driver's seat. However, IT, the body in the driver's seat, indicated no intention of being helpful. He was not in a City of Bloomington vehicle, but a private vehicle, so perhaps he was an intruder, a spy of some kind, or he was hiding out because it was a stolen vehicle and he thought he would be safely overlooked in all the disruption. Lots of scenarios are possible. But if the City of Bloomington is paying this incompetent person to sit like a dummy in his private, oversized car and block the way of citizens, he should certainly be fired, or he should not be paid if you are paying him to sit there, hour after hour, oblivious to his surroudings.
