Hello, this is in reference to #199395 that my wife submitted. it appears that they only had covered over less than half of the bad road. Our neighbors yard was also just run over the other day and somebody came back to put hay on it. Our curb also gets run over and has damaged our trees before. This is to ask if we could put some sort of guard rail or not a rail, but a guard pole to keep cars off of our properties. And to report the unfinished roadwork. Thanks for your time. This intersection is BLIND to travelers on Grant Street. The building on the NE corner abuts the sidewalk (who allowed this to be built there???), preventing a south-bound driver from seeing cars traveling west on 9th Street, and it's almost as bad for travelers heading north. If the building at 401 E. 9th is allowed to remain standing, there should be at least a stop sign on 9th Street, since it is so difficult to see oncoming traffic.

Because this house is so close to the sidewalk, it is nearly impossible to see the E->W cross traffic on 9th Street when one is traveling south on Grant. An easy way to address this is to ask the owner to trim or remove the shrubs that are on the south side of the building. Of course, a better remedy would be to install a stop sign on 9th Street at this intersection, making it an 3-way (= All-way) stop.

The alley half way between Cottage Grove & 11th on to N. Grant . There is a problem with evergreen trees that are overgrown on the extreme north west corner of 401 E. Cottage Grove. You can't see to pull out of the alley , when you are turning left onto Grant ( the est side of the road.)

Ms Lucas is concerned about people parking on BOTH sides of Covenanter on East side of 4-way stop--works at Kroger's in Jackson Creek and has been experiencing problems pulling out onto Covenanter--she's almost been hit twice b/c can't see around parked cars. Employees have to park in back, so have to exit onto Covenanter near Eaton Mews. Employees have noticed problem since new business, Dial America, moved in--problem is worse in the evening. She said she didn't notice any signs.

Headley Road - on curve near the back entrance to the IU Foundation. Previous owner used to keep pine trees cut back, new owner has let them get overgrown. Pines are close to the road and are hanging in and over roadway, making curve dangerous.
