Mr Zinman called to tell me that he feels that the intersection of Clariz onto Moores Pike is unsafe. He feels that there is a line of sight problem with this intersection and somthing should be done. I told him that I would talk to Bill Williams and Tim Hanson about it.
There is brush that has overgrown at the southwest corner of Brownridge Road and S. Smith Road. The brush has come out onto the roads. The citizen knew that the City trims back the brush if it is in the city right-of-way.
There are bushes at 2202 Browncliff Street (corner of Matlock & Browncliff) that obstructs the line of sight for traffic
When you are going east on 14th Street and are approaching Dunn Street, there is a bush that is obstructing the line of sight. The bush is located on the southwest corner.
Line of sight problem at the intersection of S. Curry Pike and Glen Oaks Drive. Lawson met w/Don Porter, Traffic Division. on site. The bushes & trees need to be trimmed back on 2302 S. Curry Pike.
McCammon called in regarding a line of sight problem at S. Rogers & Cherokee Drive. As you are pulling onto S. Rogers Street from Cherokee you can not see vehicles coming south on Rogers due to pine tree limbs.
There is a line of sight problem at the north-south alley, between Lincoln and Grant, that comes out onto E. Hillside Drive. When you are pulling out onto E. Hillside and looking to the right you cannot see oncoming traffic.
There is a line of sight problem at the intersection of 12th St. and N. Walnut St. When turning onto Walnut St., you can't see the oncoming traffic because bushes are overhanging the sidewalk.
Citizen states that if you are going east on Davis Street and turn to go north on Henderson there is a hedge that obstructs your line of sight. The property has changed ownership and the former owner trimmed the hedge. The people there now have not trimmed it and it has grown up pretty far.
