Absentee owner of property to east of 1208 W. 8th St. seems to have abandoned yard again. Grass is over 2 feet tall, thick dirt from construction is all over the sidewalk, and my landlord and I have been cutting back the bushes/part of the lawn so that they don't completely block the sidewalk. I can barely get my son's stroller through and the mud is extremely slippery after a hard rain. Our yard also has a major chigger infestation from the owner only mowing his lawn two or three times a year in previous years so that I can't even take my toddler outside to play without us both suffering from dozens of bites. Please help!

Hello, Yesterday I wrote in to tell you that I am having difficulty selling my house at 1221 W. 6th street because the neighboring house to the east is abandoned and derelict. The near west side is a nice burgeoning neighborhood that is suffering due to the negligent care of this property. I did not mention that it is also filled with pests (namely rats) but also the backyard is overgrown with bamboo. It is a haven for Racoons and other critters. 1302 W. Woodhill Drive is terribly overgrown. There have been two notices left on the door from the city, but nothing has been done. Please ask the owner to comply and mow their property.

Hello, there is excessive growth and illegal dumping behind my house at 1221 West 6th street. Someone has thrown a toilet back there. You can easily access the area via an alley way to the parking area behind the houses on Kirkwood. Thank you for your attention to this area. -J

The trees are hanging over the sidewalk so low that you have to duck to get by. It is not a well lit road and at night it is dangerous with people running into the branches hanging down.
