Vegetation is overgrown and blocking sidewalk
I've noticed sidewalk-users and students having to duck and walk into the street to avoid crowding at this spot on Dunn. The tree overgrowth has made it so anyone over 5 feet tall has to duck to get past.
Sidewalk is blocked with overgrown grass and weeds along the sidewalk on Thornton.
This house has been neglected for at least the two years that I have been in the area. There is a tree branch that has fallen into the roof, causing a hole. The branch has been there for over a year and the whole has gotten bigger. The frame of the house near the front window looks 'broken.' It looks like the house is falling to the side. The lawn is completely overgrown. It has had zero attention in two years (plus?). It is out of control. There is a van parked at the house. Every now and then the van will be moved from the driveway to the street in front of the house, but it seems like for the most part the house is abandoned. Sometimes some rather shady people come and go from that area but I don't know if they actually go into the house or not.
lot not mowed, yard trash, junk chair, graffiti on shed
Hi folks---Along Sare Road, south of Moore's Pike, on the sidewalk on the east side of the street, there's a long stretch where the vegetation is WAY overgrown. This is where there is a fence on the side of the sidewalk adjacent to the road so you have no choice but to walk through it. And the vegetation there includes poison ivy, so this really needs to be taken care of ASAP. Thanks!
The sidewalk on both the front and side of the property at 1700 E Camby Lane (southeast corner of Camby and Durham) is obstructed by low hanging branches and outgrowing vegetation. The HOA for the neighborhood has been notified and hasn't acted to rectify this, other than to send a letter to property owners mentioning overgrowth among other general comments; this hasn't resulted in any action by the homeowner. It's not possible to walk along the sidewalk without walking into tree limbs and/or bushes, so pedestrians must walk in the street on both the front and side sidewalks.
At East Thornton Drive and Covey Lane, there are several big old trees whose branches overhang Covey Lane, and the big branches are rotten and some have already fallen, but the limbs that hang over Covey Lane are dangerous to pedestrians walking their dogs and cars using Covey Lane. Can you please look into this and have the limbs and/or tree cut so that no one will get hurt or property damaged by falling limbs. Every time a hard rain comes or storm with light wind come, large limbs fall onto Covey Lane. Thank you.
Weeds and grass are very high. The roundabout and medians have not been cut and the area around the pond is very dirty and overgrown.
The front yard is getting tall, the back yard is much worse.
