Neighbor's house is barely visible due to overgrown plants. There is an infestation of rats, mice, moles, and snakes throughout their property, inside and outside. We keep our house well-maintained, but found evidence of rats and mice in our attic. We have an a/c unit up there and the wires were chewed. It was a costly repair and we were told that there could have been a fire. Numerous neighbors have talked to the homeowner at this property, but nothing has been done for years. We would really appreciate the city's immediate assistance in this matter before something serious occurs. Thank you!

Weeds and grass has been allowed to become wildly overgrown along the drainage ditch at the bottom of the valley in Crestmont Park. There is no reason that should be happening. It's not to prevent erosion. Grass doesn't have to be 3 feet tall to prevent erosion. It just keeps it from drying out and causes it to attract mosquitoes among other things. In addition, invasive vines have climbed and wrapped around many of the trees and many of the trees are surrounded by overgrown areas containing invasive honeysuckle and others. Not acceptable in one of our City parks.

The home at 700 S. Highland (Southwest corner of E. University and S. Highland) has extensive overgrowth of weeds and tree branches into the sidewalk on S. Highland. The sidewalk has become impassable in some spots and damaged in others.
Probably worth a visit by the city, and a citation.

Hello. The property at 4900 S. Dunlap Rd., Bloomington, IN 47403 appears to be abandoned and has excessive overgrowth. My father's house is across the street, and for the last two months, I have not seen anyone at 4900 S. Dunlap Rd. The grass is overgrown, and the awning on the garage is collapsing. The property looks terrible. We have been mowing around the mailbox since we don't want wildlife hiding in the grass around the mailbox waiting for the mailman. Please look into the issue.

When driving south on Nancy St, at the intersection with Hillside, it is difficult to see oncoming traffic because of overgrown vegetation. To the left it is hard to see cars. To the right it is hard to see peds and bikes on sidewalk. BTW when I sent a note in last year, you fixed it right away. Thanks for doing that!

The Tyler’s Turn Home Owners Association had several dead ash trees on their HOA property. These trees were just off the border of our property, and two have fallen during storms in the past year. They hired someone to remove the dead trees, and most of the work was performed three weeks ago. However, they left one dead tree standing. It it is in a position to cause some major damage, this one is leaning onto our property, and the tree company made a partial cut at its base (see the attached picture). If it falls, it could destroy quite a bit of our landscaping & stonework, as well as another neighbor's fence. I’ve twice written to the HOA president, Eric Dainton <edainton@renaissancerentals.com>, alerting him of this situation, but have not received a response. The property’s parcel number is 53-08-10-210-002.000-009, and the owner is listed as Huntington, Renaissance Partners. It is located immediately to the east of 1857 S Covey Ln.
