on 4th street between lincoln and washington, when i am walking beside that church, the grass is ok, but there are overgrown bushes and trees. can't walk that whole block unless you are short, especially when it rains & branches are sagging down lower than usual. i am referring to the 1/2 of that block from the middle of it over to lincoln. thanks
Sidewalk over grown. South of Erin Ct, west side of Azalea.
Referencing Case #169521 I doubt you even got out of your car, Jo Stong. Now, read this again: "It is unlawful for the owner of any lot or tract of ground within the city to allow it to become overgrown with weeds, grass, or noxious plants beyond the height of eight inches or to such extent that the growth is detrimental to the public health and constitutes a nuisance. (Ord. No. 12-23, § 1, 10-3-2012) "Constitutes a nuisance." A nuisance. Public health - ticks, kissing bugs. This is a city lot, not the county.
Tree plot west of Duke Energy service center on W 2 nd St not mowed all year
Overgrown/unkempt flower bed on city sidewalk between Papa John's and Topos on Walnut St.
People's Park grass and weed overgrowth throughout the park.
A lot of weeds and grass growing up along curb and unkempt planter.
On the north side of Winslow, then up Henderson the overhang from trees impairs mobility whether walking, biking, assisted mobility, strollers. The same is true on the east side of Sare Rd north of Rogers (the Rogers that runs east and west) and Hillside. Sidewalks have to be walked around because of all the overgrowth. I'm sure there are lots of other places in town but these are where I have been recently.
Hi I’ve received many complaints about weeds downtown in a couple of tree plots, along curb on College curb between Kirkwood and Sixth across from Malibu Grill, and the tall weedy looking flower pots ... not sure the butterfly garden concept is working... anyway wanted to share ...thank you for all you do... the person shared it didn’t look like we were ready to greet the new incoming folks
