Mrs. Keys called to voice concern about the tax money citizens pay for students to have large items picked up. I explained to her our trash/sanitation system. She primarily called to complain about a large amount of weeds at 1001 E. 1st, and also weeds in the surrounding area that she thinks need to be removed. (No other specific addresses were given.)
trash and litter scattered all over the place. the place is a real eye sore (corner of Dunn and Smith)
Ms. Figg said that 614 N. Summit (vacant lot) is owned by the City??? and has overgrown grass and trees. Tree limbs are falling into the neighbors yards. She also said that there are snakes at this location. (Barry you should check with Penny about who owns this lot)
AT THE CORNER OF 16TH/WOODBURN SOMEONE HAS DUMPED OLD COUCHES ON A EMPTY LOT. (Barry, I called Melva Sturgis, the owner of the property, on 8/13, she said she would take care of it keep an eye on it)

There is a 3 leaf vine growing out of controll, it covers the entire back yard and is starting to climb up the house. It is growing toward the neighbors house. It dies every winter and returns every summer.
