Mrs. Keys called to voice concern about the tax money citizens pay for students to have large items picked up. I explained to her our trash/sanitation system. She primarily called to complain about a large amount of weeds at 1001 E. 1st, and also weeds in the surrounding area that she thinks need to be removed. (No other specific addresses were given.)
there is grass that is too high. "It's almost as high as the house" There are weeds & Tress that need to be cut.
Refrigerator in the back yard and house needs painted badly. Also, car pulling across sidewalk and parking in yard. Also over-occupancy complaint & unregistered rental complaint.
THERE IS A LARGE CONSTRUCTION DUMPSTER IN THE SIDE YARD OF THE PROPERTY. IT FACES 1ST STREET. THE TRASH IS NOT OVERFLOWING HOWEVER, THE TRASH IN IT IS HAS BEEN THERE SINCE LAST SUMMER.

Several vacant lots in the 1000 block of W. Countryside Lane has not been mowed. Mr. Relick very upset due to the same problem every year and the length of compliance so that owner only has to mow twice a year.
There are 4 lots along the 1000 block of Country Side Lane that have needed to be mowed for over a month. He called and filed a complaint a month ago.
There are 5-6 vacant lots in the 1000 block of Countryside Lane which have not been mowed at all this year. Caller stated that the lots are owned by Bud Short.
