About once a year, the alley ways need trimmed back of the bushes that overgrow into them. The area of concern are the alley going north/south just east of the Atwater Ave Subway restaurant between Atwater and Hunter, and the one going east west from Woodlawn to Faculty Dr. I drive these alleys daily and have noticed the branches have gotten to the point of needing trimmed. Overgrown sidewalk at the corner of High and Second Street.
A plant in the yard of 3401 Ashwood has grown over the sidewalk on The Stands Drive, making it difficult for kids to bike and others to walk on the sidewalk.
The bushes and weeds behind 1306 S Madison St have grown almost completely across the alley. In order to drive thru this alley, one must drive through the neighbors parking area to avoid these trees.
Growth reported by resident into the road at 2513 S Ford Ave.
411 E First Street, half of the sidewalk is covered by overhanging long grass. This was reported in the summer already. Nothing has been done about it.
The intersection where Clover Lane ends and Blue Ridge North turns into Blue Ridge East continues to concern drivers in our neighborhood. I’m the neighborhood association president and have had suggestions that we ask for the city to install stop signs on each street. My opinion is that getting rid of the brush would improve visibility and avoid the need for stop signs. This photo shows how it’s impossible to know if there is oncoming traffic as one drives up the hill of BR North and attempts to turn left onto BR East. (not sure why the photo is upside down.)
