Overgrown yard, blocking roadway
Yard is way overgrown and needs maintenance. This happens every year.
Extreme, excessive growth and noxious weeds permeating the property.
The property owner is not taking care of the yard. Grass and weeds are well above the 8 inch limit. Yard has not been mowed at all yet this year. The photo submitted is the way the whole yard looks and is a very large lot. This same thing happened last year.
This property is once again in violation of grass and weeds being above the 8 inch limit. Complaints were filed a month ago, and while the property owner did cut a portion of their yard (which ended up looking horrible and then had turkey vultures in it) they did not cut all of it. They part they did not cut in the backyard is many feet high now, and the part they did cut is back up over the 8 inch limit. Maybe a mowing service should be suggested to the owner. Hopefully they are facing higher violation fees since this is an ongoing issue. Also before tickets are closed, there should be a check that the whole yard was taken care of, not just part of it.

Lisa Abbott called to report very high grass at a vacant lot north of 17th St, next to the Korean restaurant.
Grass is extremely high and needs mowed. Vacant lot.
Caller said there is an empty parcel of land approx. 2 acres that needs mowed. Believes the address is 1402 N. Walnut but not for sure. She said it was across from the Miller Showers park. Its a large vacant lot.
