The house is located right next to the Park Ridge East community park, and local children have expressed fears about playing there due to the "scary house." This property is a rental unit, and the front gutter is almost entirely hanging from the roofline into the yard, giving it an abandoned appearance. The neighborhood has attempted to assist, but the house remains in poor condition. Other residents are currently trying to sell their properties or have attempted to do so without success. Potential buyers admit to looking elsewhere because this house, prominently located on the corner, is in full view of the park. Can someone please help? The vacant lots from the 4000 block of E. 3rd St. to the Ryan's Steak House have not been mowed. Weeds are waist high. She said that the owner is David & Carol Zook, 138 W. Town Hill Road, Nashville, Indiana.

This property is a disaster.Neighbors realize the city is limited as to what it can enforce but these residents are allowing invasive weeds to grow all along the street which must be a violation of some code. On the rare occasion they do mow, they allow lawn clippings to pile up in the street and leave them there to blow away or go down the storm drain. Look in the drain, please. Their weeds need to be eradicated for the sake of all surrounding neighbors. I believe they have been repeatedly warned about not mowing. When they do mow, it is ONLY the area at the curb which we all assume is your only jurisdiction; however, their backyard is so over-grown it can't help but be a breeding ground for vermin. Seriously, please help the Blue Ridge neighborhood with all you can. It gets worse every year. Pics were taken but won't load.
