Water
I know we are told that the water, despite tasting horrible, is safe; but I wonder if for some of us, there is esophageal damage being done. I have a discomfort in my esophagus that seems not the same as acid reflux and not really familiar. Please, can you put your focus not on densification or even getting rid of hazardous plants, but on such basics as having safe water, and water that at least with a routine kind of home filter arrangement is drinkable? I am sure this is affecting the health of a great many of us, if not directly, indirectly because the water is so repulsive that we may be drinking too little. I actually gagged while brushing my teeth.

Please do something about the length of time the algae taste is in our water. Thr kids and pets can't handle it.

Water tastes & smells disgusting. I got sick for a day, sore throat (negative covid test). We have a youth in home who has lots of allergies and food sensitivities, too. Thank you

I have read the statements released by CBU/Tyler Steury about the water smell/taste being just an aesthetic issue, and at first that assuaged my concerns. However, I have been experiencing diarrhea after consuming the water since the end of August. I've been able to get a couple days of relief here and there just by avoiding the water, but it comes back when I lapse by getting a fountain soda or ordering food with a lot of tap water (soup, pasta). I've spoken with many other residents with the same issue. Also, our pets who drink tap water have been getting sick. I'm deeply concerned that CBU isn't effectively mitigating the algal toxins. I can't find cylindrospermopsin and microcystins levels on the CBU website, so I can't compare them with the EPA Drinking Water Health Advisory levels at https://www.epa.gov/cyanohabs/epa-drinking-water-health-advisories-cyanotoxins. Is CBU testing for toxins daily, and where is that data?

The water taste/smell/quality here has been horrible for weeks. It’s insane that we still pay the same amount of money in our water bills for water that is undrinkable (due to awful taste). I’m tired of having to spend money on extra water sources. You’d think after multiple years of this same problem you guys would be able to put together a solution!
