He wanted to emphasize that this area has been patched nearly every year for the past 5 years, and the patching crumbles and is worn away within weeks. Reported what could be sinkhole forming outside residence at 3749 E. Cameron Avenue. Approximately 1 foot wide and about 8 in. deep. Noticed that street looked hollow underneath, wants response when action is taken.
Called in complaint of possible sinkhole in front of 3749 E Cameron Avenue. A complaint had been called in a few weeks ago (UReport #159862), and the hole was patched up. She said the hole is back, and it looks as if there is a problem underneath the road that cannot be fixed with a patch.
He reported this as a storm sewer issue at first and Tony E. told him all we could do is build up the berm to help keep the water from running into his garage. Mr Mcconnaughy called me and said that's not what he wants. He says the street dept. keeps patching the asphalt in the alley and now it is too high and that causes the water to drain into his garage. He wants the asphalt lowered from University St to his garage (he said about 20') so the existing rock berm he already has will keep the water out of his garage. I told him I would refer this to Street Dept.
Customer has a drainage problem Rain water running down the alley and going under his garage door.
