Potholes, Other Street Repair
742 E Moss Creek DR
- Case Date:
- 6/12/2014
The bike lane on the south side of 7the Street between Indiana and Woodlawn is rough. It is especially bad at Park and Fee and at the bus stops. There are pot holes and indents. The problem is really drainage. These areas have puddles for days after rain storms, causing even more freezing and thawing damage than at other places. During the school year there are a lot of buses and shuttles on this section of street, forcing cyclists to stay in the bike lane regardless of the condition of the pavement.
Pothole near Atwater Eye Center. Has been patched before but patch is breaking apart.
On N. Oolitic near 11th St there is a deep cut in the road where I assume utility work was done but the cut is dangerous as it will destroy a car. There is no sign to alert a car that it is there, and it needs to be filled in or a metal sheet needs to be placed over it until the complete repair can be done. I thought my tires were going to blow out yesterday when I drove over it and I drove very slowly over it because I was aware already that it was there. Please stop ignoring the road conditions around here (Lindbergh and Oolitic between 11th and 17th) and please fix them asap.

Rhorer road east of walnut street pike is a huge mess from the construction. Rocks have flowed down to us at 755. Our driveway entrance is full of mud, rockand chunks of asphalt
Hi, The parts of Rhorer road between Walnut Street Pike and Jackson Creek Middle School are riddled with potholes. I understand construction is going on in this area and Rhorer will eventually be widened, but it is currently difficult to drive and I am concerned I will blow out a tire. Please fix this and make sure the patches don't just create other holes like in the past. Someone has also placed a cone in one of the deeper holes as the whole tire fits into it, and ruining a car is something very possible in this area.
At Dodds and Lincoln there are a few large potholes, and a couple more just north of this intersection as well
