Because there are no standard lines, people park wherever they feel like as they come and we end up having room for far less cars because there’s no consistency between the cars.

While you are following up on case #205167, please also follow up on case #201463. The earlier uReport case requesting attention to the N/S alley stretching from 11th to 12th and flanked by 415 E. 11th and 800 N. Grant was marked "resolved", but nothing ever happened and now it is in even worse shape.
