Somebody dumped a large shopping cart on the roundabout where W 17th meets Arlington Rd. It has a used tire and a big bag full of junk that is now strewn around. A city tree from Acuff Road has fallen and is encroaching the sidewalk in the rear of 1158 Sugarberry Court.
These piles of debris have been blocking this sidewalk for several weeks.

Dirt, sticks, mud on sidewalk makes it difficult to walk on.
There is a fallen branch on the sidewalk and treelawn (city easement) in front of my home. It fell from a city tree across the street. Presumably, someone moved it out of the roadway onto my easement. It is not thick, but is large and unwieldy. I do not have a photo I can submit.
On Thursday afternoon, the storm brought down half of our huge sugar maple tree. It fell across the road closing Rockport Rd completely. Neighbors and my husband, Steve Cook, cut and cleared the road. Your road crew came by and put cones on either end of the sidewalk and said they would be back the next day to clear the sidewalk, but they did not come – no blame at all as we are sure they were plenty busy. We wanted to make sure there was a record of this work still needing to be done. Feel free to call and leave a message. An arborist will be coming to ascertain the rest of the tree and the removal of the giant from our yard, although with thunderstorms all Saturday, I don't expect it will be today. Thank you.
