To whom it may concern, Hello, My name is John Rodriguez. I'm a student from Mount Pleasant High School in Northeast Texas. For our Engineering Program, a couple of students and I, have been aiming to place a concrete slides in one of our local parks. We've contacted a manufacturer and asked for a list of previous customers who own one similar to the one we are considering. Thus I am here with an inquiry. I was wondering if you could give me a direct contact (Email or Phone Number), to someone in the parks department or someone who would know information, pertaining to your concrete slide, particularly things like maintenance and operation. We are compiling a list of comments and reviews for the embankment concrete slide so we can present it to our city for better consideration from them. The bathroom at the lower cascades park has been locked the past 5 Saturdays and or Sundays that my family has visited. There is no "out of order" sign. But it worries me because there are hundreds of people that visit that park, especially on the weekends. I actually wondered if maybe the park itself is closed on weekends during the day (around 1 o'clock in the afternoon). So my questions are: -is the bathroom supposed to be locked during the day on the weekends? If not, -when will someone reopen it? -what are the hours that the park is actually open with access to the bathroom? I don't know if your responses to u-reports are public or even available to me (without leaving an email address). But I hope they are, so that the other parents can also be informed.

The wood mulch surface of the playground structure at Park Ridge park needs replenished. As a regular park goer, it appears to me that the wood has degraded and other wise been slowly moved away from the play area over time. Currently, there is bare ground in spots of high foot traffic and increased potential of erosion from those spots, plant growth, etc. Also, I am not aware of the mulch having been replenished since the park was remade. Given that that renovation was completed 3 years ago, it seems like it is just time to add some more mulch. In reference to case #158545 regarding Park Ridge Park, we looked at the park and the mulch cover appears to be unchanged since the case was closed. There is still a general lack of mulch and several bare spots underneath the playground structure. Also, the first mowing occurred, which is great. Unfortunately, it has revealed bare spots in the grass surrounding the playground, in particular along the north west side of the park. Leaves were piled in that area over winter (and several other areas) and the grass has not come back. Could grass seed/straw be put down in that sloped area northwest of the playground structure as well as other areas that need it? Thank you.

The Upper Cascades Skate Park has a single portable fiberglass structure serving as a restroom facility. The door to this structure is broken and cannot be locked for privacy and/or safety.

There is a tree across the Renwick trail right around the curve as you come from the Sare Road side. Fortunately, I saw it soon enough as I rounded the bend on my bike, but some may not.
