There are two very large and deep muddy puddles in the large dog park area at Switchyard. One is located by the large tree in the center of the park, and the other is located by the sitting area under the green awning. My dog recently got into the muddy water, ate and drank it, and became severely sick for several days. After speaking with several dog owners at the park, this has happened with their dogs too, so it is definitely a health hazard. It is very difficult to keep the dogs away from these areas. This does not seem to be a problem just after rainfall, but most of the time. I ask that they be filled with gravel or fenced off to allow for regrowth and to keep dogs away in the meantime. Thank you!

I am sensitive to the needs of the unhoused and the city needs to be doing much more to protect them and provide them safe living spaces, but it is frustrating to me that I cannot walk my dog in any of the parks near me (Bryan park, switchyard) without feeling unsafe because of homeless people yelling at and following me. Bryan park used to be a safe park.

To whom it may concern, Hello, My name is John Rodriguez. I'm a student from Mount Pleasant High School in Northeast Texas. For our Engineering Program, a couple of students and I, have been aiming to place a concrete slides in one of our local parks. We've contacted a manufacturer and asked for a list of previous customers who own one similar to the one we are considering. Thus I am here with an inquiry. I was wondering if you could give me a direct contact (Email or Phone Number), to someone in the parks department or someone who would know information, pertaining to your concrete slide, particularly things like maintenance and operation. We are compiling a list of comments and reviews for the embankment concrete slide so we can present it to our city for better consideration from them. Many of humans at the Ferguson Dog Park do not know how to use the T-valve to turn on the water, or that spray will cool and clean their dog. Please post instructions, or use a magic marker to point the way.
