Please replace the upper tennis court lights at the Winslow Park. More than half of the lights are burned out. Also, please tuen on the lights about 45 minutes earlier. It’s too dark for playing match around 8:00 pm.
Bunch homless hanging out at public park not safe for children. Always needles and caps loud music
Playground is incredibly overgrown. Some areas have a black, fungus like growth in the grass as well. I sent an email to Parks this morning before someone told me about this form.
Poop in the dogpark. Several months ago both the supply of bags and the container for used bags were moved from within the dog fields themselves to an area within the double gate entry area. Perhaps this was an attempt at efficency but it has had a sigificanlty adverse affect on the conditions in the park itself with much more poop being left on the ground and more full bags being left scattered around the park. Yesterday I picked up 11 full bags left out in the field and this is not uncommon. Both the bags and the refuse containers need to be returned to their original spots to turn this trend around. Lights are out on 153, 77, and 51 along the B-Line
Courts frequently full from people outside the neighborhood. Particularly paid coaches giving lessons. If someone wants to make money let them do it in a private court before taking all of the neighborhood courts for hours from local residents. Please change the policy. If already a policy please post it.
there’s still a very dead tree in the middle of a playground.
The street apron at the entrance to Leonard Springs Nature Park is badly eroded, to the point where vehicles can bottom out and scrape against the edge of the remaining asphalt. This happens even when turning very slowly and carefully into the park. I believe it needs to be filled in with road base and topped with asphalt or concrete. Thanks!
Someone has set up what looks like a junk store on the east side of People's Park up against the bike shop wall.
Back sidewalk entrance to people’s park is blocked by a person sleeping and by a sleeping cot. It seems to show up during the day.
