I am concerned about the health of the large old sycamore tree in Rev. Butler Park, at the intersection of W. 9th and N. Maple Streets. This magnificent tree, known locally as "the 9th Street Sycamore," is losing its new leaves, which lie shriveled in the streets and gutters around the intersection. The leaves that are still on the tree appear pale, small, and weak/limp, ready to fall shortly themselves. I live across from this tree and have NEVER seen it look unhealthy until this season. Please have a specialist evaluate this important landmark.

I think the Bryan park basketball courts need to be re done and have more lights added to them to make it a better experience

Why is there a patch of dirt in front of the performance stage at the park behind the police station? Can't it be seeded?

The lights on the tennis courts at Bryan Park do not seem to be working, and when I went tonight to play at 9pm I also saw that one of the large bulbs from one of the lights had fallen and shattered on the ground. Can you please let me know when/if the lights will be in working condition tomorrow night? I would like to take advantage of the tennis courts in the evenings. Thanks so much!

There is a dead deer inside the SW baseball field (the one closest to Winslow and S. Highland). It is in far left field, near the fence. Maybe it jumped the fence and didn't make it. It probably should be removed ASAP.

The website states there is a sand volleyball court at the Southeast Park. I went there yesterday and couldn't find it. Can you send me a picture and/or the location of the court. And can you provide me with a current list of volleyball courts in Bloomington. Thanks.

Hi, I would like to know who to contact to discuss removing dog waste from Ferguson Dog Park. I own a pet waste removal company and would like to submit a proposal to keep the park clean. Thank you,

Good morning! I just want to be sure you are aware that one of the courts here is still unusable. The net that has been up all winter is still fine. The net that was just re-installed a couple of weeks ago has collapsed. With the warmer weather, these courts get a lot of use and I know a bunch of us would be delighted to have both courts in play. Thanks!

Hello, My name is Grant Seifers. I have lived at 2104 E. Arden Dr. for almost my entire life now, I am 23, and Southeast park has always been a big part of my life as a park that I could always use and take pride in living so close to! That being said, I still live at the same house I grew up in because I am an IU student trying to save money. My friends and I still use the basketball courts and yesterday we noticed that their age was really showing. The goals are very out of date and probably original to the courts being made, the rims are bent, one goal is missing a net, and one of the goals is bent altogether. I did notice a few years ago the court was re sealed and painted, but no notice was given to the actual goals. which is pretty important also. It would be awesome to see new goals put in place before summer gets here, because a lot of people would be thrilled to see that. Also putting in metal bleachers or some kind of seating would be really great to see! Thanks for hearing me out, and hopefully we can look forward to playing on some nice goals this summer in the park!

It appears that a tree in Bryan Park was struck by lightning last night. It is a large one, split right down the middle of the trunk. This is on the southwest corner of the tennis courts. I wanted to let you know in case it's a safety concern.
