Please, clean up the shantytown in Seminary Park. This is not fair to the squatters who swat there, the people who would like to use the park as it was meant to be used as a non-residential recreation space, and the businesses and homes in the vicinity. Clean it up. Get these folks into a space meant for habitation. This is not safe and it certainly is not indicative of a healthy city. Worst city government in 50 years.

I'm writing to inquire about reservation policy of pickle ball courts at RCA park. On the Bloomington Parks and Rec website, it does not say that these courts are reservable.
Recently, however, the Bloomington Pickleball Club (BPC) has circulated information stating that they have reserved all 12 pickle ball courts at RCA for three hour blocks of time. Apparently, to use courts during this time, one would need to be a BPC member, which costs $55.
Is this consistent with Bloomington Parks and Recreation policy?
If so, I would like to know more about how non-BPC individuals or groups can go about reserving courts.
Thanks,
Jay

Good Evening. You may know this already, but there are two landscape plants in the Mills Pool grounds that are nearly passed away completely and really look bad. One is the Blue Spruce tree right on Blair Ave and the other is a Mugo Pine in the long winding planter bed up next to the fence along Blair Ave. They are really not well and they look really bad. I'm hoping they can be removed prior to the start of the pool season on May 27th so the rest of the city can see the beauty of this pool and grounds and neighborhood. Just trying to be a good citizen and member of my community. Thanks for all you do for all the parks and grounds in the city.
