Case #168067 should closed now. The grounds crew has been diligent in mowing. The photo above was taken this morning. Last year at this time that bald cypress was surrounded by ragweed several feet high.

Follow up on case #168883 about trees and vines growing up around the Norway spruce on the east side of the park between the tennis courts and the Woodlawn Shelter. I got an email saying that the issue had been resolved. It has not, unless that means it has been reported to the groundskeepers for clean up in the fall. Please clarify. Thanks!

Swing set Karst has significant damage. It's also not anchored. The legs on this end were shifting as I used it.

Broken memorial tree marker. I don't know what your policy is about these, but it seems sad for it to be in such bad shape.

I went to the RCA Park yesterday looking for the pickleball courts that I saw were located here when I searched on line. When I saw this sign I was confused. I didn't see any sign for pickleball so I thought I had the wrong place. I was about ready to leave when I finally noticed the pickleball courts beside the tennis courts. Why not put up a sign up for the pickleball courts to avoid confusion for others. Thank you

At 8:30 AM Thursday a group of "campers" were packing up, after a nights sleep perhaps, at the large shelter located towards the back of RCA park.

Karst farm park - one of the baby swings has somehow been adjusted and is now wonky. I can't use the other this morning due to fresh bird poop. Thank you for starting to address the damaged swingset.

Hi there. I wanted to first commend the parks department for putting their resources towards purchasing trees and having staff plant them in Schmalz Farm Park to help with the ecological restoration of the area. Projects like this are what make Bloomington such a great place to live! However, I have also been informed that, due to the complaint of one individual about taking up space for children to play, these trees are to be removed next week. I believe that this is a grave mistake - there are plenty of other parts of the park for children to play, the fragile young trees will likely not recover from another transplant, and the hard work of all of the parks employees will be for naught. I urge the parks department to reconsider this direction and leave the trees to prosper where they have been planted, helping to keep a Bloomington Park in great shape for years to come.

Homeless people leaving debris against our building(Mural Wall) Also Patrons of people's park have been urinating by our dumpster (we have witnessed) and the corner where our mural wall ends and your fence begins. We have been bleaching the our property to remove the urine smell. We have also witness a few health events from the park patrons and where ambulances have been called. I would also suggest locking up the power outlet at the North end of the park because patrons of the park have been camping out re-charging their cell phones

A fitness organization called Bloomington United for Fitness is holding an exercise class in Olcott Park. I appreciate the need for outdoor space, however, they are using the paved trail for stationary exercises. Since these occur in one relatively narrow space, it is not possible to socially distance and because they are exercising, they are not wearing masks. Would it be possible to ask them to move to an area with more space in the park such as an open field not next to the path?
