I submitted a request for repair of this sidewalk in front of the house with no response. So then I submitted a 50-50 request to get this repaired, also with no response. I have already seen a child fall and skin up his hands and knees due to this sidewalk which has been like this for so long. It got worse when a city work truck came over the curb to collect brush and scooped so deep that the big root was pulled up and worsened the crack. Several surrounding slabs are cracked, but this one is the worst. Who do I need to contact to get this hazard repaired? Nothing so far seems to have worked. Thank you for any help or information you can give me.

Dear City Hall, I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I have noticed on the north side of 3rd Street, between Grant Street and Dunn Street, next to the public parking lot. The sidewalk in this area has become hazardous due to the roots of a large tree causing the paving stones to rise, creating a tripping hazard for pedestrians. This is particularly concerning because the bike lane on 3rd Street, heading east to west, ends at Dunn Street, forcing cyclists and scooter riders onto the sidewalk. Many cyclists and scooter riders have tripped over the uneven pavement here. Additionally, the sidewalk at the northwest corner of Dunn Street and 3rd Street has multiple areas of damage. These issues pose a significant risk to public safety, and I kindly request that the necessary repairs be carried out as soon as possible. Thank you for your attention to this matter. There is a bunch of sand on the sidewalk at 401 W 7th in front of the Monroe County voter registration building. It has been there for several months so am hoping it can be cleaned up. Thanks!

The sidewalk has big areas of lifting due to the tree the city planted. I'd like to be able to keep the tree and maybe the sidewalk can be "shaved" to make it smoother for walking.

The sidewalk is blocked from a fallen tree (from the June storm). If you are coming out of the West Pointe neighborhood, you can NOT see to turn left onto Allen without nearly going into the street to see any oncoming traffic.

The sidewalk on Stands Drive (Eastside of 3401 S. Ashwood Drive) is in terrible shape (crumbled gravel). The problem exits on S. Ashwood on the north side of the property. We reported the condition of sidewalk over ten years ago. Really.

Last week my grandmother, Linda Gast, was walking near the Crescent Park Condos on John Hinkle Place across from the post office. She tripped on uneven sidewalk and fell and broke her arm. This break required an ED visit and surgery that included a metal plate and several screws. This sidewalk is near Bell Trace, where she lives, and a lot of older people are using the sidewalks in this area. We would really like to see some attention given to this sidewalk in order to prevent others from being injured.

The sidewalk along Winslow between Henderson and Picadilly, the south sidewalk next the Sherwood Greens, has two spots in need of repair. One portion of the sidewalk is sunk in and the other portion is crumbling. There are several people with mobility issues who use that sidewalk and also many runners use that sidewalk as well. The photos I am sharing are a year old so the problem has gotten worse. Thank you.
