Person has been living on the curb for roughly 10 days with several carts of belongings and a dog that jumps out barking at people as they walk by on the sidewalk. While the person generally stays on the part of the curb that is not the sidewalk, this can't be permitted to take place in a safe and civil city.
IU Packer trucks are having a hard time getting access to trash containers along 9th because cars are parking along the curb. The sidewalk was recently re-done but curbs have not been painted. Thanks Jill

The prior uReport was finalized by saying the issue was mitigated. I walked by this morning and it hasn't been mitigated. The missing sidewalk is on the west side of Sare Rd about 200 yards south of Moore's. It's across the street from the Verona Coffee shop. 4600 E Morningside, some of worst sidewalk deterioration I've seen in town. I understand cutting homeowners slack at times, but please make this commercial property owner fix this to be accessible to wheelchairs and comparable again. I was using my power chair to travel to the other side of Landmark Avenue to find a working crosswalk. When I got to the portion of sidewalk that borders the Anderson Medical Product's back parking lot (where they park all their vans), there was a curb with no curb cut, so I couldn't get onto the sidewalk.
Heavy, metal sign support with three sandbags has been sitting on the sidewalk for weeks. It blocks wheelchairs and is hazardous at night. Please ask whatever department that left it there to remove it. Thank you.

The sidewalk at 422 East Hawthorne still has not been shoveled. It was not shoveled after the Monday/Tuesday snowfall, and it was not shoveled after the Thursday snowfall. Weirdly, the front steps, porch and walk of the property have been shoveled, but not the sidewalk. It has been more than 24 hours since the snow stopped.
Please have owner contact trash collector and make them move dumpster off the sidewalk
